The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Businesses announced on the 15th that it will dispatch a market development team consisting of 14 small and medium-sized businesses to President Park Geun-hye's trip to Central Asia from the 16th to the 21st.
The pioneer group mainly involved small and medium-sized enterprises in the fields of automobile parts, medical devices, electronic devices, and household goods, and export consultations were held with local buyers in three countries: Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The dispatching companies are Daewon GSI, Medonica, Beauwell, LK Hitech, Youngchang Silicone, EOR, JD Media, Jisung Corporation, KTM, KOENG, Paco Global, Plama Worldwide, KJI Industrial, and W&P Korea.
An official from the Federation said, "Central Asia is an emerging market with great growth potential, but it is one of the regions that is difficult for our small and medium-sized businesses to enter. By accompanying the president on his trip, we will increase the credibility of the company and use it as a stepping stone for pioneering the local market."
